(Naples, FL) 1C Productions is pleased to announce that Emmy-winning Director Steve Feldman has joined the “Stop Resisting” docuseries project. Feldman has directed and produced programming for PBS, CBS, Disney, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MSNBC, and Discovery. Shows include Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, and documentaries on prison life for MSNBC showcasing a deep understanding of complex subject matter and the ability to translate it into compelling visual storytelling. His children’s work includes Sesame Street, Barney and Friends, and more.
STOP RESISTING is being produced in coordination with Sisters of the Movement and its President, Allisa Charles-Findley, who is the sister of Botham Jean. The project will tell the stories of both victims and perpetrators, highlighting the specific elements that led to fatal police violence encounters. This approach seeks to identify individual systematic elements that, once addressed, would stem the tide of police violence.
