THE 1C STORY NETWORK TAPS VETERAN SYSTEMS EXPERT LISA ALBUQUERQUE FOR CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER ROLE
Decades of U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, TSA Knowledge To Be Applied
(NAPLES, FL) – The 1C Story Network is pleased to announce Lisa Albuquerque as its new Chief Operating Officer. Albuquerque will oversee documentation, processes, streamlining, and organization of day-to-day operations for the growing six-year-old multimedia company.

Albuquerque brings a wealth of systems knowledge garnered during 26 years of service in the U.S. Navy as a Force Protection Officer (16 enlisted, 10 commissioned), four years of work with the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab, nine years as a research fellow with the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, and six years as an operational risk specialist with the Transportation Security Administration. A hallmark of her work has been her dogged dedication to creating, revising, investigating, and memorializing systems for greater operational readiness and excellence.

The 1C Story Network was founded in December 2019 to produce, distribute, and promote story-driven podcasts. The majority of its shows reached top 10% globally. The company expanded into film and television development and production with varied online and network distribution paths. In 2023, 1C announced the addition of Rebeca Books, a traditional, royalty-paying book publishing line for women writers 40 and over. The first cohort of three titles released in Fall 2025. Each sold through its initial print run within 72 hours of release.
