(NAPLES, FL) Encore Estero Club at Estero Country Club at The Vines will host Pauline Hayton, author of the novella Grandma Rambo on which the eponymous 1C podcast show is based, on March 17, 2022.
Hayton is the beloved author of over a dozen works, including Naga Queen, Still Pedaling, and A Corporal’s War: The WWII Adventures of a Royal Engineer. She will talk with the group about her work as an author. Copies of some of her works will be on-hand for acquisition.
The Encore Estero Club’s mission is to continue to provide opportunities to develop friendships, enjoy planned activities, learn more about its community, and offer ways to give back to that community. Estero Country Club at The Vines is situated in an Audubon Certified Sanctuary and features an 18-hole golf course designed by Gordon Lewis.
Grandma Rambo is a scripted podcast comedy show based on the novella by Pauline Hayton. The show, released in 2021, tells the story of firecracker Brenda Maxwell recovering her mojo abroad after beating cancer and celebrating her 60th birthday. It is produced by 1C Productions, Inc.
